Garlic Spinach Stuffed Mushrooms
Ingredients:
1 lb. large fresh mushrooms, washed.
1/2 cup chopped green onions
3 tablespoons butter or margarine
1-10 oz. Pkg. Frozen, chopped spinach, thawed and squeezed dry
Roasted cloves of 1 garlic bulb
1/2 cup finely chopped Canadian bacon
1 cup cream of mushroom soup
Salt
Directions:
Remove stems from mushrooms. Saute the green onions in the butter or margarine until transparent. Mash garlic and add to spinach and cook for 3 to 4 minutes. Remove from heat. Stir in the Canadian bacon and cream of mushroom soup. Place mushroom caps in the baker, salt lightly, and fill with spinach mixture. Bake in a 350º F oven for 12-15 minutes. Serve warm. |
